 Sherri Hewitt-Laird  
 President, Caring Mission Home Care

 Administrator, TCM Home Health

Ms. Hewitt-Laird has 15 years experience in Health Care Management. Upon graduating from West Virginia Community College with an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care, she worked in the trauma units at Mercy Hospital, before acquiring the position as Director of Respiratory Care at Greene County Memorial Hospital. In 1996, Ms. Hewitt-Laird transitioned into home care as a Respiratory Therapist with Liken Home Medical. Soon after she was promoted to Coprorate Compliance Officer then Regional Healthcare Manager. in 2003, Ms. Hewitt-Laird completed the Leadership Development Program at  the Joseph M. Katz School of Business -University of Pittsburgh.

In July 2000, she co-founded The Caring Mission; providing in-home supportive services for seniors and the disabled. Today the company services 5 counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania with three service locations. In April 2005, Ms Hewitt-Laird founded the Caring Network, Inc., a non-profit organization designed to assist low-income families without prescription coverage to receive low cost and/or free medications. In November 2008, she founded Caring Mission Home Health d/b/a TCM Home Health. TCM Home Health is a fast growing, in-home medical company serving patients in Washington, Fayette, Greene and southern Allegheny Counties, providing skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech-language therapies, medical social work and home health aide intervention in patients' homes.

Ms. Hewitt-Laird is a board member of the Souhtwestern PA Partnership on aging, a graduate of Leadership Washington County and Co-founder of the National Private Duty Chapter of Allegheny County.

Ms. Hewitt-Laird has received recognition for the following accomplishments throughout her career:

Ms. Hewitt-Laird resides in Claysville and is the daughter of Paul & Jean Hewitt. She is married to Samuel M. Laird and they have two sons, Brittan and Brandon who attend McGuffey Middle and High School.

Amy Avolia is the Care Director of Caring Mission Home Care. She joined Caring Mission in 2001. Amy currently works closely with our scheduling team and oversees many of the various day to day issues that arise with Caring Mission Home Care. Since joining our team, she has held the position of Care Specialist, Care Coordinator, and Safety Director, as well as being instrumental in assisting Sherri Hewitt-Laird, President, in the implementation of innovative ideas and processes which have contributed to our sterling reputation in the community and the growth and success of Caring Mission Home Care. Amy has over 25 years of experience in the Human Services field. She is a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, NPDA and Pennsylvania Homecare Association and volunteers with many local organizations including BB/BS. Amy has been a lifelong resident of Washington County.
